This guide describes the relationship among CUSO, CUSO cooperants and the partners associated with cooperant placements. It clearly identifies the obligations and commitments of each of the three parties within this relationship.

The Manual is a compilation of policies and procedures that have been developed to meet the changing needs of cooperants, CUSO and our partners in Canada and overseas. Cooperants are required to read the Cooperant Policy and Procedures Manual before making a final decision to accept a placement and should take the document with them to the field for future reference.
